Description:

A common narrow-mouthed frog species found in still water in pools and ditches. It has a black stripe along the sides of the head and body.
Its call consists of a series of high-pitched "kriiiick" and is usually heard in the evening.

Habitat:

Nocturnal, just like the Painted Chorus Frog,found in still water in ponds and ditches. Can be found in gardens and scrubland.

Size:

2.5 cm SV.

Status:

Widespread and common.

Distribution

Southern China and Taiwan, Indochina, the Malay Peninsula and Sumatra.
