Description:

In Singapore, the East Asian Ornate Chorus Frog is only known from the young secondary forest on Pulau Tekong where it was first reported in 2005.
Its back and sides are dark olive brown with a broad yellowish stripe along the sides. An oblique yellowish streak behind the eyes.

Habitat:

Nocturnal, terrestrial, breeds in muddy puddles.

Size:

2.5 cm SV.

Status:

Rare and restricted to certain areas.

Distribution

Japan, China, Indochina, the Malay Peninsula and Sumatra.
